The rise of vapors from contaminated sources into buildings can pose an immediate risk if they reach hazardous levels.

Managed a large food manufacturer’s catastrophic break in their underground heating oil lines for their building. A significant heating oil related leak reached the Passaic River and required cleanup of the storm system, source area, and spill into the river via product skimming of the river and steam cleaning the riverbanks. He managed the design and implementation of a combination product recovery, ground water treatment system and soil bioventing system to remediate the contamination. These actions lead to a full No Further Action determination by NJDEP for the property.
